What "up to 24 hours" actually means
It is a ceiling, not a guarantee. "Up to 24 hours" means that under the right conditions, this is what our fragrances can achieve. It is not a number that applies identically to every person in every situation.
Longevity depends on how the fragrance meets your body, your clothes, and your environment. Two people can wear the same fragrance on the same day and have genuinely different experiences. Both are correct.

How we arrived
at this claim
We did not arrive at "up to 24 hours" from a single test. We tested rigorously, across multiple rounds and different months, always under the same controlled environment — and we compared our results against other fragrances across every price point.
Why fabric changes everything
Sacred Aura fragrances are specifically formulated for fabric application. This is not a workaround — it is by design.
Skin is a living surface. It generates heat, produces sweat and oils, and constantly changes throughout the day. All of these factors break down fragrance molecules faster. On skin, even the most concentrated Extrait de Parfum will fade faster than on fabric.
Fabric holds fragrance the way a sponge holds water. The oil molecules bind to the fibres and release slowly over time. This is why our recommended usage — 4 to 5 sprays on your clothes, 15 to 20 cm away — is not just a suggestion. It is the difference between 4 hours and 24.
If you are applying Sacred Aura directly on skin and not getting the longevity you expected, switching to fabric is the single most impactful change you can make.
Why your experience
may differ from someone else's
Heat and humidity are the biggest performance factors in real life. One of our customers in Hyderabad during cooler months reported more than two days of longevity. The same fragrance used in Mumbai in April and May — hot, sticky, and heavy sweat — performed noticeably shorter. Same fragrance, same person, different season. This is completely normal.
Natural fibres like cotton, linen, and wool hold fragrance the longest. Denim and thick cotton are excellent. Synthetic fabrics like polyester release scent faster. For the best possible performance, spray on cotton.
People with oilier skin tend to project fragrance better even on fabric, because the natural warmth creates a better diffusion environment. People who perspire more heavily will find longevity shorter, particularly on fabric closest to the skin.
Our recommendation is 4 to 5 sprays minimum. Our 350 spray per bottle and 70 day calculation is based on 5 sprays per day. One or two sprays will give you a noticeably shorter experience. Four to five is the sweet spot for performance.
How to apply
for best results
Follow these steps every time and you will consistently get the best possible performance from your Sacred Aura fragrance — regardless of weather or season.
- 1 Hold bottle 15 to 20 cm away from your clothes before spraying. Too close and the fragrance concentrates in one spot. The right distance allows it to diffuse evenly.
- 2 Spray 4 to 5 times on the outer layer of your clothing — collar, chest, and shoulders work best.
- 3 Do not rub in. On skin or fabric, rubbing crushes the top notes and shortens the opening phase of the scent.
- 4 Spray before leaving home. Fragrance settles and blends with your clothing over the first 15 to 20 minutes and smells its best after that settling period.
- 5 Avoid silk, white fabric, or delicates. High-concentration oils may leave a mark on light or sensitive materials.
Why some Sacred Aura fragrances
last longer than others
Different fragrance notes have different natural longevity — this is a characteristic of the ingredients, not a quality difference. Understanding your fragrance helps you set the right expectation.
